The D.C. Divided were defeated, 2-1, by the Cape Coral Hurricanes at Factory of Sadness, even though Derek Carter pitched well for D.C.. With the win, Cape Coral upped its record to 31-24.
Cape Coral took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Melvin Henderson hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Hurricanes.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Henderson told the Cape Coral Times.
