Behind a fine performance from Pancho Valdéz, the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC knocked off the St. Louis Coeur, 5-4. Valdéz was 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Northern Lions BC. Thunder Bay is in third place in the Third League with a record of 34-21.
