In a low-scoring affair between the Hollywood Shredders and the Memphis Mockingbirds, pitcher Marc Clemow was the difference between victory and defeat. The Hollywood left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Shredders win. Clemow, now 3-7, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Hollywood, at 25-38, occupies last place in the Premier League.

Hollywood used a well-timed hit by Tony Taylor to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Shredders ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Marc is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Hollywood manager TJ Reynolds.
