Hurricanes Deal Oaks 4-3 Loss
The Cape Coral Hurricanes did just enough to sneak past the Oakland Oaks, 4-3, at The Oak Grove. Cape Coral pitcher Chris Lee, in particular, had a standout performance. The save was credited to Mark Smith, his 8th. Cape Coral raised its record to 29-28 with the win.

Andy Fievet's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant, coming with runners on 1st and 2nd and the game tied, 3-3. The Cape Coral designated hitter hit a run-scoring single off Phil Krause to put the Hurricanes up.

"We did enough to win," said Fievet.
