Patriots Get Past Buffalo for 3-2 Win
|
The Boston Patriots dealt the Buffalo White Walkers a 3-2 loss at Dunkin Donuts Park. Chong-hun Chon was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Ron Murphy, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2059 draft, earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. The second-place Patriots have won 4 in a row.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Chon hit a forkball from Ben van de Loo for a solo home run. The Patriots, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This house was rockin'," Chon said.
