The Kingston Ponies beat the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 5-3, at Megaffin Park. Adam Bell, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Fred Hull got the save, the 10th for him this season. The Ponies go to 21-37 with the win.

Bell had a timely hit for Kingston in the bottom of the eighth. With Kingston trailing 2-1, he turned a first pitch fastball into a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season, making it 5-2, Kingston.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Kingston manager Rayzor Ray said afterward.
