The Buckhead Bowties beat the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 5-4, in 11 innings at 5 Paces Park. Buckhead second baseman Bikila Ayinde had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win makes Buckhead 26-33.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Ayinde hit a sinker from Jack Peters for a run-scoring single. The Bowties, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
