Vancouver pitcher Dionísio Zagallo had a large part in his team beating the Buffalo White Walkers, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Ray Stevenson came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. Doug Owen nailed down the save.

The Grey Wolves got a big at-bat from right fielder Wei-fang Ping. For the game, Ping was 1-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 22nd double of the season gave Vancouver a 5-3 lead.

Ping told a Vancouver Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.

The win puts Vancouver at 25-39.
