Joseph Hurls Shutout
It wasn't easy but Bill Joseph made it look that way.

Joseph silenced the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-0, in a D.C. Divided triumph at Washington Stadium. Despite the appearance of dominance, Joseph said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 1 hit.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."

This season, Joseph has worked 36 innings with 28 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 record and a 2.75 ERA.
