Rush Moore, who is tied for 6th in the 3L in complete games with 1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Charleston Battery to a 7-5 win against the Nova Scotia Leviathan at The Dungeon in Halifax. Their 39-22 record puts the Battery second in the Third League.

Rich Lee had a big 2-run triple for the Battery in the top of the fourth inning. With Charleston leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Ron Gunther and swatted a triple to left. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Battery ahead, 5-0.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Lee, "and then get after it again."
