The Seattle Rocketeers downed the Memphis Mockingbirds, 3-0, at Magnolia Park. Starring for Seattle was pitcher José Correa. Bill Hayes was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 10 save opportunities. Seattle bumps their record to 30-34 with the win.
George Myers had a direct impact on the outcome. Myers contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Seattle up, 3-0.
