Kingston registered a win at 5 Paces Park by beating the Buckhead Bowties, 5-2. Pitcher Claude Simon was one reason why the Ponies triumphed. Fred Hull finished the game for Kingston and earned his 13th save. The slumping Bowties have lost 8 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for Kingston, had it not been for Holden Hart, the 29-year old center fielder . Hart contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Kingston up, 3-0.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Simon. "I think we showed that here."
