The Buckhead Bowties beat the Kingston Ponies, 13-4, at 5 Paces Park. Cristo González, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He scored 3 runs. Buckhead pitcher Edward Margaret earned the win, hiking his record to 5-5. George Taylor suffered the loss. The 11th-place Ponies now sit at 26-40.

Tied up with the Ponies in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Bowties got a boost from first baseman Dillon Bert. With the bases loaded, Bert saw a 0-2 changeup from George Taylor and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Buckhead on top, 5-3.

Kingston manager Rayzor Ray said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
