Keng Earns Praise as Northern Lions BC Topple Battery, 15-7
With designated hitter Ta-hye Keng leading the charge, the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC defeated the Charleston Battery, 15-7, at Great Northern Field. Keng, who finished 4th in the 3L in on-base percentage with .389 in 2059, went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Thunder Bay reliever Walliyullah Brown picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Curley Martha was saddled with the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Northern Lions BC.

Fiers Samorukov aided the Thunder Bay cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams.
