The Buckhead Bowties defeated the Kingston Ponies, 7-6, at Megaffin Park. Buckhead first baseman Saul Goodman had a superb performance. He went 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Buckhead starter Edward Margaret was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-6. Earning his 13th save for Buckhead was Ed House.

In the top of the third, Buckhead third baseman José Díaz had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Díaz stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-1, Buckhead. For the game, he was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
