Fievet Lifts Hurricanes to 10-6 Triumph
Led by Andy Fievet, the Cape Coral Hurricanes defeated the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 10-6. Fievet slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Hurricanes. Diego Pounds earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings. His record is now 2-1. Nova Scotia is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

In the top of the eighth, Fievet put his team in front with his 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Huibert Illidge, made it 7-6, Cape Coral.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Nova Scotia manager Tyler Studebaker.
