Luis Rosário, who won the Outstanding Pitcher Award in 2047, was locked in. The left-hander led the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC to a 5-4 win against the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Getting the save was Walliyullah Brown, his 1st. Thunder Bay is 40-34 and Vancouver, with the loss, 44-30.

Thunder Bay needed the clutch hitting of Charlie Moore to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Northern Lions BC on top, 3-1. For the game, Moore had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I guess we'll all be a happy family for at least one day," said Rosário.
