The Buckhead Bowties scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the Dayton Dirty Reds at Lang Park. Buckhead pitcher Christian Roberts held his own in the contest. Homer Mathis snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-3 on the season. Ioachime Yakutin suffered the loss. The Bowties improved to 37-40.

Buckhead used the clutch hitting of Dillon Bert to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bowties ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

"I just tried to stick to my strengths," said Roberts.
