Dayton center fielder Edgar Zwarthoed played a vital role in his team's 12-6 conquest of Oakland. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for Dayton. Ismael Mena earned the save for Dayton, his 2nd of the year. At 50-27, the Dirty Reds are currently second in the Third League.
