Mezzatesta Excels in 6-1 New Orleans Win
|
The New Orleans Voodoo dealt the Hollywood Shredders a 6-1 loss at The Voodoo Lounge. Fernando Mezzatesta was the star on offense. He went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times. The 5th-place Voodoo are now 35-31, the Shredders 36-30.
Martin Mills hit a run-scoring double off Bill Owens in the bottom of the second, which put the Voodoo in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Mills had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Mezzatesta told the New Orleans Daily News.
