|
Nova Scotia Leviathan starter Alfredo Maldonado pitched a strong game against the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at The Dungeon in Halifax, leading the Leviathan to victory, 6-3. Today's win puts Nova Scotia at 37-44, while Thunder Bay falls to 35-46.
In the bottom of the seventh, Jeff Fields put Nova Scotia in front with a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, he rapped a run-scoring single, making the score 6-3, Leviathan.
"I just made my pitches," said Maldonado, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
