The Cape Coral Hurricanes picked up a win at Factory of Sadness, downing the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 5-3. On the mound for Cape Coral was right-hander Diego Pounds, who played a pivotal role in the win. Pounds, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 3 walks. Chris Lee notched his 4th save in 8 chances.
