Pyon Leads Leviathan to 12-6 Win Over Hurricanes
The timely hitting of Chun-yeong Pyon helped the Nova Scotia Leviathan down the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 12-6. Pyon went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Leviathan. Brian Hill, the winner, goes to 1-0. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts over 7.1 innings. The Leviathan raised their record to 30-55.

With Nova Scotia leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Pyon hit a splitter from Lawrence Higgins for a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Leviathan ahead, 4-1.
