D.C. turned a good effort from starter Keith Hays into a win over the Nova Scotia Leviathan at The Dungeon in Halifax. The Divided won the game, 6-1. Hays, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 5, and allowing 1 run. The Divided now have a record of 37-49 with the win over Nova Scotia.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Wei-fang Ping? The D.C. left fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Divided on top, 3-0. For the game, Ping had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
