Shredders Rally For Late Win Over Elite

The Detroit Elite got a sterling performance from pitcher Satoshi Morimoto, but the Hollywood Shredders still prevailed, 5-3. Morimoto threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. With the win, the Shredders have a record of 36-31.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Sandross Bañaga? The 25-year old third baseman Bañaga stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put Hollywood up, 4-3. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 2 doubles and 1 single.
Hollywood manager Bill Cheese commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
