Leviathan Rally to Win

Claude Thomas did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Cape Coral Hurricanes an extra-inning, 8-7 loss to the Nova Scotia Leviathan at The Dungeon in Halifax. Thomas was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. The Leviathan raised their record to 31-55.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Nova Scotia trailing 7-6, Quentin Zacagnini hit a fastball from Mark Smith to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Leviathan had a walk-off win.
"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Tyler Studebaker, the Nova Scotia skipper.
