Divided Deal Leviathan 7-6 Loss
|
A 3-RBI performance from Brian Davis, who is tied for 5th in the 3L with a .409 on-base percentage, helped the D.C. Divided beat the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 7-6. The defeat makes Nova Scotia 45-42.
D.C. used the timely hitting of Gazmir Sapunxiu to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Divided on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Divided manager Jonathan Gerth.
