The New Orleans Voodoo beat the Baltimore Bullets, 4-2. New Orleans pitcher and San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic, native Alfredo Maldonado led the way. The save went to Tetsu Gato, number 1 for him. With the victory, the Voodoo upped their record to 35-32.

The Voodoo got a big at-bat from second baseman Les Moore. For the game, Moore was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave New Orleans a 1-0 lead.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Maldonado. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
