Bowties Win Thriller, 5-4

5 Paces Park was host to some intense drama.
The Bowties grabbed a win, 5-4, at 5 Paces Park, overcoming a fine effort from Vancouver pitcher Pat Butler. Butler went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Buckhead reliever Tristan Liefting picked up the win, raising his record to 4-5. Randall Larkin was tagged with the loss.
The decisive blow was delivered by Harry Kofmeister in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Randall Larkin to win the game for Buckhead. The home crowd went nuts.
Kofmeister told a Buckhead Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
The setback makes Vancouver 53-35.
