The Kingston Ponies overcame a good performance by Oakland shortstop Brett Taylor to knock off Oakland, 7-6, at Megaffin Park. Taylor was 5 for 7 with 5 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning continues for Kingston, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.

The Ponies relied on second baseman Phil Brooks for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Kingston manager Rayzor Ray.
