Echo Park left fielder Donald Anderson was sensational. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Thunder Bay beat the Lakers, 8-4. Hakizimana Kipkorir earned the win to go to 5-7. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.

Shintaro Hagi hit a 2-run double off Bobby Taylor in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Northern Lions BC in front, 6-4. In addition to the double, Hagi had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
