Luis Rosário, who finished 3rd in the 3L in innings pitched with 151.2 in 2047, imposed his will on the Ponies from the get-go. Relying mainly on his sinker, the left-hander spearheaded the 5-0 Thunder Bay triumph. At 47-46, Thunder Bay is in 7th place in the Third League.

Rosário, a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Kingston hitters off-balance, while giving the Northern Lions BC 6.1 quality innings. Rosário threw 100 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 8.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Rosário.
