The D.C. Divided got a superb performance from pitcher Will Rogers, but the Kingston Ponies still won the game, 5-4. Rogers threw 7.0 innings allowing 4 runs. Kingston reliever George Taylor picked up the win to move to 6-2. Lou Thompson suffered the loss. This loss makes it 8 in a row for D.C..

Arthur Hayes was the walk-off hero for Kingston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ponies right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This losing is getting old," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth.
