Oakland second baseman Jorge Morales had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Morales was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2, even as Vancouver beat the Oaks, 8-5. The slumping Oaks have lost 6 straight.

Vancouver used the hitting of Peter Young to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Grey Wolves on top, 8-5. For the game, Young had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
