The Cape Coral Hurricanes defeated the Kingston Ponies, 10-5, at Megaffin Park. Leading the charge for Cape Coral was center fielder Miguel Ayaly. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Chris Lee earned the win to go to 9-6. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. Cape Coral used a clutch hit from Jesús Casquete to snatch the win. The second baseman belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hurricanes ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
