Thurston Untouchable, Tosses No-Hitter
Is it better to be lucky or good?

After leading the Colorado Billy Goats to victory, 2-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the D.C. Divided, Sloppy Thurston didn't have the answer.

"I don't know," Thurston said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both."

On his big day at Grazing Hills, Thurston fanned 7 and had 4 walks. And it seemed that when the Divided managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender.

"That's how you get a no-hitter," Thurston said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck."

This year, Thurston has recorded a 15-3 mark. In 23 starts he has fanned 145 batters in 169 innings with a 2.45 ERA.
