Loss to Oaks Extends Echo Park Losing Streak

The Oakland Oaks picked up a win at LA Forum, taking down the Echo Park Lakers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Andrew Martin was a big reason why. Martin picked up the win for Oakland, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-7. The Oaks have now won 4 straight.
Jorge Morales, who is tied for 3rd in the 3L in RBI with 69, had a direct impact on the outcome. Morales contributed a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put Oakland up, 4-0.
