In a tight tilt between the Echo Park Lakers and the Nova Scotia Leviathan, Conor March was the deciding factor. The Echo Park right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The win went to Warner Alder in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Maxwell Security took the loss. The win elevated the Lakers to 53-47.

Joe Madden was the walk-off hero for Echo Park. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lakers first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Madden told the Echo Park Daily News.
