The Buckhead Bowties defeated the Kingston Ponies by the score of 10-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Allan Adams. Adams was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Bowties on the day. Buckhead reliever Joe Proctor got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Li-ping Cheng was tagged with the loss. Ed House earned his 21st save in 25 chances.

With Buckhead leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Adams hit a fastball from Li-ping Cheng for a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Bowties ahead, 3-0.
