The Oakland Oaks trumped the Dayton Dirty Reds, 10-5, at The Oak Grove. Oakland first baseman Ishaan Swan was terrific. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The 7th-place Oaks lifted their record to 51-51.

The Dirty Reds had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Oaks going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old second baseman Jorge Morales came to the plate. Morales hit a 3-run home run on a 1-0 fastball from Dayton hurler Juan Rodríguez. It was Morales's 14th home run of the year.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Oakland manager DAshley GoAs.
