Dayton Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Dayton Dirty Reds had to overcome a good performance from Colorado pitcher Mark McConnell to claim a 1-0 win at Lang Park. McConnell went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Chip Sizemore earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record is now 6-0. The victory gives Dayton a record of 66-37.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 12th for Dayton. That's when 27-year old right fielder Ray McConnell hit a run-scoring double off Hunter Stinson to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"This joint was rocking," said McConnell.
