The Buckhead Bowties defeated the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 3-1, in Menard's Third League action at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Buckhead pitcher Edward Margaret had a standout performance. Tristan Liefting, credited with the save, is now 4 for 9 in save opportunities. At 46-58, Buckhead is in 10th place in the Third League.

Buckhead used the hitting of Bikila Ayinde to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bowties on top, 3-1. For the game, Ayinde had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"Edward pitched like a champ," said Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister.
