The Lighthouse grabbed a win, 6-3, at Beyond the Wall, overcoming a fine effort from Buffalo pitcher Volmer Aalbers. Aalbers went 6 innings and allowed 4 runs. Juan Rodríguez got the win, improving to 3-0. He held the White Walkers to 3 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Imbart Theunen nailed down his 12th save.

Tied up with the White Walkers in the top of the fourth inning, the Lighthouse got a boost from second baseman Emílio Soto. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Soto saw a 0-1 changeup from Volmer Aalbers and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Long Island on top, 3-2.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.

With the win, Long Island goes to 30-39, while the White Walkers fall to 29-40.
