Bishop Now 12-5 After Subduing Dirty Reds
Scott Bishop, who is tied for 3rd in the 3L in wins with 12, was terrific for the Oakland Oaks in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Dayton Dirty Reds. His performance earned Bishop rave reviews. The triumph puts Oakland at 69-37 for the season.

Bishop earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Oakland. The native of Lincoln, Nebraska, allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 7. Dayton hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.

In postgame remarks, Bishop hailed his team's "mettle."
