Max Meltdown, who is tied for 9th in the 3L in strikeouts with 112, had a strong outing for the Buckhead Bowties against the Cape Coral Hurricanes at Factory of Sadness. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. Meltdown yielded 1 run over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 8-10. Ed House notched his 15th save in 20 chances.
Felipe Madrid had a direct impact on the outcome. Madrid contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Buckhead up, 2-0.
