A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Barton Springs Blues and Westwood Sixshooters.

The Barton Springs Blues defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 5-3, at Sixshooters Stadium. Leading the charge for Barton Springs was left fielder James Robinson. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was Gil Guerrero. His record now stands at 2-1. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits for the Blues. Picking up the save was Fernando Rivera, his 3rd.

Kenny Hamilton drove in one run for Barton Springs. The 25-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Pepe Aguilar. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"I had some good swings out there," said Robinson.
