Ottawa center fielder José Guillén contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the Yakima Hops. Guillén, who is tied for 9th in the 3AA in RBI with 11, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Fat Cats. Getting the save was Francisco Valenzuela, his 2nd. Yakima now has a record of 10-6.

Ottawa won the game in part because of Iván Galindo. The right fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Fat Cats ahead, 4-1. For the game, Galindo had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Guillén.
