White Walkers Absorb 4-1 Home Loss
|
The New Orleans Voodoo dealt the Buffalo White Walkers a 4-1 loss at Beyond the Wall. Janpey Kille, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in home runs with 14, was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Yoshimasa Sato, now 3-6, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. New Orleans has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
New Orleans took a 4-1 lead on Kille's 14th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jerome Field in the top of the eighth, propelled New Orleans to the win.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Voodoo manager Chase Sims, "I like our chances."
