Despite a great performance by Hollywood right fielder Esteban Ortega, the Mexico City Blue Demons defeated the Shredders by the score of 7-2 at The Hollywood Bowl. Ortega was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. At 27-43, the Blue Demons find themselves in 9th place in the Premier League.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Kenneth Elliott? The Mexico City shortstop had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put the Blue Demons on top, 3-2. For the game, Elliott had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Mexico City manager JJ Hoban.
