Dominant Performance by Glenn in Providence Win
The Providence Pilgrims got a magnificent effort from pitcher Eugene Glenn, who kept Westwood hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Pilgrims win at Field of Plenty. Larry Alexander earned the save, his 5th. The Sixshooters, now 5-11, continue their slow start.

Providence starter Eugene Glenn was exceptional. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7.2 innings of work.

"Eugene was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Providence manager Arturo Rochel.
