Fur Traders Deal Ghosts 8-4 Setback
Good production from designated hitter Brock Williams helped the Tacoma Fur Traders topple the Casper Ghosts, 8-4. Williams was 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Fur Traders. Raph Liberato, the winner, is now 1-3. He struck out 3 and walked 1 over 5.1 innings, while allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The Ghosts, now 10-7, have been pitiful so far.

In the bottom of the second inning, the Fur Traders grabbed the lead when Gerald Fontenot rapped a two-out single. Tacoma was trailing 1-0, when Fontenot hit a 2-run single off Wesley Edwards to put his team in front, 2-1.

"Nice to get this one," said Fontenot. "Wins have been hard to come by."
